The Palms Springs Photo Festival is a great way to connect, learn and take in many aspects of the photo world, be it fine art or commercial, learning new techniques, seeing and trying out the latest gear, or staying on top of where the field is moving towards and being current in your knowledge of things. I really like that it brings all of this together in an accesible and fun environment. – Cat
PSPF has provided me insights as to high levels of photographic performance, equipment and software guides and more, all extending my personal horizon for photography and the visual arts. – Paul
PSPF was an absolute inspiration. It was so nice to be surrounded by so much talent and creativity. And generosity too – people open to share their ideas and experiences. It was a beautiful week. – M
I wanted to take a moment to thank and compliment you regarding PSPF 2014. This was one of the best photographic experiences I could have imagined and far exceeded any expectations I had when I registered. Now I am kicking myself for the years past when I let other things keep me from coming, but I assure you I have already put it on the 2015 calendar. The quality of all the people I came in contact with from the volunteers through the workshop and seminar leaders really left a lasting impression. – Ray
I have just returned from my 3rd year as a reviewer at the Palm Springs Photo Festival. It was hard to imagine in year #1 that it could get any better, but it has. The festival is really indescribable. I take my role as a portfolio reviewer seriously and I know that I am providing encouragement, revelation, ideas and motivation to those with whom I meet. It is simultaneously inspirational for me and there are so many great friendships and relationships made and formed.- Marianne
Thank you for a stellar festival. I attended Frank Ockenfels’ class and it was amazing. My other favorite events at the festival were the evening lectures. I am so happy I found the festival. This was my second year attending. Because my time is limited, it’s great to have the opportunity to attend an event where an artist like me can cram loads of education in a 4-day period. Kudos. May the festival continue to grow and prosper. – Luis
I just wanted to say thank you for allowing me to be part of the PSPF, it was an amazing week. Spending time with Stanley Greene and the rest of the photographers was an amazing experience for me. It is a shame that the time was so short, I made lifetime friends in the workshop and to me, that is priceless. I personally learned so much in the few days and now inspire to be a better photographer to document this amazing world we all live in. The experience I encountered was a once in a lifetime event I will cherish with me forever. – Marvin

NOTE: Some changes from prior years:
In order to best be able to implement the infrastructure required for our workshop program next year, we will close workshop registrations earlier than we’ve done in the past, possibly as early as April 1 or when they fill, whichever occurs first. This is because our highly regarded program requires us to plan the many details for our workshops including models, rental vehicles, gear rentals, meals and space allocations for the classes in advance in order to continue to maintain the high quality our programs are known for. Thank you for your understanding.
In addition, all registration fees will be increased by 10% after April 1, 2014 so please plan to register before that date to benefit from the lower pricing. This is because we will have nearly finalized all of the elements necessary for the festival by this time, and changes are very complicated to make as the festival dates approach.
We offer 100% refunds less a $25 admin fee until March 15. From March 16 – April 1, a 50% cancellation fee will be required, and after April 1, no refunds will be made. Workshop cancellation fee is $100 after March 15.

CONNECT 2014: Will YOU Be There?
“PSPF was the most inspirational and fascinating experience I’ve ever had. It feels so wonderful to be surrounded by a community of working professionals who all shared the same love / passion and creativity, along with sharing their knowledge, education + experience.” – Rhonda
“For the third year in a row I had the opportunity to be a judge at the PDN Photo Plus Expo at the Javits Center in New York City. The Palm Springs Photo Festival curates the portfolio review at Photo Plus, bringing top photo industry talent together under one roof. This event gives JUICE Pharma [ad agency] a chance to be exposed to established talent as well as up and coming photographers, which is largely what we saw this year. I was really impressed by how prepared the photographers were in knowing about JUICE, what we do, and what we might be looking for.” – Michael Kaminski
” I had many great meetings with positive responses and heard just as many helpful bits of advice on how to strengthen my presentation. The meetings were invaluable and if all goes well should lead to working relationships. – – Bart
“I have been to PSPF three times. I come for the fraternity as much as the workshops and portfolio reviews – and I leave each year so invigorated! THANK YOU” - John D.
…I’ll be there with bells on…the slideshows & evening presentations at PSPF rock my world. Damn, the previous years’ nights with Minkinen, Iturbide, Muench, Kirkland, Sturges blew my mind. – Stuart
“The only criticism I have is that no where on your website did it say how totally cool this event is!” – Jamie
“I just wanted to say thank you again for the kind and inclusive treatment last week in Palm Springs. Your event is 5 star, and I’m still vibrating with the energy. Can’t wait until next year.” - Carrie
PSPF changed my life and is a venue that I would absolutely recommend without reservation (and do) as THE best creative networking event that anyone could elect to be a part of.” – Sean
“As always, I find the experience to be one of the most satisfying industry events I attend all year. You manage to pull in some really remarkable people, and offer a wonderful platform to exchange ideas, network, and really appreciate photography.” - Peter
“I just want to say how wonderful my experience was: The reviews, the symposiums, the slide presentations, the mingling and the all-around good feeling of the PSPF 2011! It felt like photography camp for grown-ups! I think you just used overall common sense to capture the essence of what a good photo gathering should be and just did it! Bravo on an excellent festival.” - Susan
“…it really was a life-altering week for me. ” - Cynthia
“Your event has really hit its stride—well-organized, well-programmed, wel-executed, and well… just really cool.” – Rex
“This was my second year attending Palm Springs Photo Festival, and I am certain it will not be my last because I probably learn more in this week about photography and myself than in the course of the year.” – Tom
